I went full out colour with this one.

I had so many sweet little girls in the studio in June, it was crazy! A little spurt of them, and luckily for me, it fell right into when all the flowers were blooming outside, so I had plenty of natural props to work with. I stopped along the road to pick a few of these gorgeous dark purple lilacs, not knowing that sweet Fiona who came in to see me would have the most beautiful dark hair and that purple would be *her* colour. Serendipity I’d say! She was such a little sweetheart for me and even though she woke up near the end of her session and wasn’t too keen on sleeping again, I got plenty of awesome shots of her, full of colour and life, just like newborns bring to our lives!
