After 6 years of photographing newborns (safely) on my own, I finally decided that it was time to hire an assistant for newborn sessions, and it was the best thing I could have ever done! Not only for the extra safety that it provides for the most precious little clients, but also to help me with certain poses, reduce my editing time, and quicken session time for parents!

I’m so grateful to these ladies for caring about my work, and for the help they have given me! Jessica (who is now training to be a doula!), Ginette, and Andrea (fellow photographer and friend).

Hope you enjoy seeing these behind the scenes images from our sessions this year…my goal for 2020 is to make a video showing exactly how my sessions run, for any new mamas curious about how we make magic while keeping your little one safe (hint: hands on baby pretty much the entire time.)
