If you know me, you know that I’ve been into the ‘fitness’ world for a few years now, first as just a participant, and now as a part time fitness class instructor. I teach at my local gym (GoTrain Fitness, check them out!), and hope to expand my education and role in this world in the future (as a side gig, photography is my first and forever love).
Since I’m a huge believer in portraits for yourself, and since I know how incredibly HARD fitness folks work for their health, I decided to offer mini sessions this winter for all my instructor friends out there! Raya jumped on the bandwagon right away and if you know Raya, it’s no surprise. She is so keen, so energetic, so *badass*, it was incredibly inspiring watching her bust out squats and pull ups and handstand pushups (!!) during our session.
And that’s the thing, these sessions are mostly about capturing all the hard work that also becomes a passion for most of us, and being deservedly proud of what we do day in and day out. They are fun, casual, quick and worth having, no matter where you are on your journey, trust me!
