My first newborn post-Covid shutdowns!
After a looooong couple of months off, I opened my studio back up at the end of May (big thanks to everyone who sacrificed so that our province could flatten the curve and get us all back to work!) I was in one of the final stages of re-opening because, as you can probably imagine, I cannot maintain physical distancing when photographing these little beings (in fact I need to be VERY close to keep them safe), but with a bit of help from officials and colleagues, I now have safety protocols in place to ensure that I can do my job as safely as possible within these new circumstances (the “new normal” as many people say).
My first newborn back in was sweet Eleanora (“Ely”, so cute right?!) And, because she was my first back in, I think that she went a bit easy on me, only putting up a tiny bit of fight 😉 I feel so lucky to be doing this again, and thank all the mamas who trust me with their newest, most important little packages, especially during all this!
Miss Ely, welcome to the world.
