I, like, really like love.

It’s no surprise if you’ve been around here for awhile to know that engagement sessions are some of my favourite sessions of the year. Hanging out with a couple in a beautiful location (I went to some REALLY gorgeous spots this year like Alma, the Fundy coast, and the Bluff in Sussex), usually at a beautiful time of day, and watching them cuddle, laugh, feel awkward, walk, hold hands, follow my dorky instructions, and just be with each other is the absolute best.

I am SO fascinated with relationships and love and couples; it sometimes takes all my social willpower not to pry into everyone’s business, haha, but as someone who has spent a lot of time focused on my own relationship (15 years strong), I often wonder what makes these couples want to take that leap into marriage and what keeps them together, all these years later. So instead of asking, I watch through my camera. It’s an honour that they would allow me into their relationship, if only for a while.
