The sweetest little dude on an unlucky day.

Back in the heat of August I met Eliott and his 3 older siblings (ages 9, 3 and 2); we by some miracle managed to get the siblings images done fairly quickly and easily (such a cute family!), but then when it was Eliott’s turn for his photos he wouldn’t settle and wouldn’t sleep (if they are awake for the sibling portion I always just power through, awake or not, so didn’t think anything of it). We tried everything we could but he just wouldn’t settle and got more agitated as the day went on. I always try my best to get images for parents and will be patient (sometimes beyond what seems reasonable, lol), but I also know when a baby is just not having a good day and will call it before things get too difficult for baby or mama. Well, turns out this poor little fella had thrush and had to go the ER that night! I felt so bad for mama but was happy I managed to get a photo of all her babies together, which I’m sure is what she will treasure for years to come <3
